Generosity: The Key to the Christmas story

Supporting the Napier Family Centre bring joy to children's lives.

This Christmas we are again endeavouring on the project of the Napier Family Centre's Gift Tags for Christmas. These tags correspond to a child connected to the Napier Family Centre that will likely not experience the joy of a gift this Christmas, and provide us an opportunity to provide one.

Each gift tag has printed on it the gender and age of a child for whom you are asked to purchase a gift. These are returned to the church office (unwrapped) and delivered to the Napier Family Centre who then wrap and distribute them to the children.

Last year, we managed to donate around 30 gifts through the gift cards programme - this year we are aiming for 40. If you would like to contribute to this project, please collect a card from the Christmas Tree in the foyer of the church. Gifts do not need to be expensive, and do not need to be large.

At the heart of the Christmas story is a love story made known to us through the generosity of God in coming among us as Jesus Christ. This is a small way we can introduce a sense of hope, joy and love into the lives of young people in Napier through our own generosity!
