About the event

The Hawkes Bay Ministry Collective is open to all those involved in active ministry or church leadership and from across denominations and traditions.

Join us as we hear from Dr Roshan Allpress, National Principal of Laidlaw College and historian with research interests in social and cultural reform, evangelicalism and religious reform, the origins of philanthropy and humanitarianism, and intersections of theology and political economic thought. Roshan will guide us through some of the numerous times the mission and practice of the church has shifted to meet and to accelerate important social change in the western world, from which we will begin to see where change is faithful to God’s call on the church, and where it could just be capitulation to culture.

Session begins at 10:30am followed by lunch and an opportunity for a workshop or Q&A with the speaker.

$20 per person to help cover the costs. Contact Alan…
