Celebrating New Life

On Sunday, 25 May we celebrated the baptism of Peter and Christina. These two came to baptism after an overwhelming experience that Jesus was calling them to follow, and after an experience of the faith through our recent ALPHA course.

Baptism is always a celebration for the church as we welcome more into our community and into the family of God. It is an important public statement of affiliation with our crucified Lord and comes with it a commitment to the challenge of living a live informed by grace.

Please pray for Christina and Peter as they continue in their faith journey, and for the others that are preparing for baptism. Our next baptisms will be in late June and early July.
