Since the second term of 2022, we have run an AfterSchool programme on Tuesdays from 3pm to 5pm. Beginning with just a handful of kids, we now find ourselves bursting at the seems with upwards of 23 kids registered, but thankfully not always attending. We gather for some games (hide and seek in the church being a favourite), activities, afternoon tea and mostly just to have a fun time.
The Afterschool programme has been a major part of our growing Junior Youth ministry, with a significant proportion of the young people coming along not having a direct connection to our communtiy other than through the AfterSchool programme.
Tuesday, 12 December saw the group come to a close for 2023 with a rehearsal of the natvitiy play, some extra party food and a good laugh before the merry christmas' were shared.
