Bishop Andrew has announced the appointment of Graeme Brock, presently work as Waiapu Engagement Lead with Anglican Care Waiapu, to the role of Strategic Lead for the Diocese of Waiapu as we seek to implement the new vision and strategic plan.
While Graeme may not be familiar to all of you, he is a member of the community of Taradale Anglican and was confirmed by Bishop Andrew in our service held earlier this year. Graeme comes to the role with a wealth of experience across both pastoral and social services work, including roles in leadership development of structural reform. He has become a well-known figure across the Diocese of Waiapu through his work with Parish Projects which has fostered opportunities for community engagement across the diocese.
As the Strategic Lead, Graeme will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of the Diocese’s five-year strategic plan, working closely with the Bishop and alongside the Diocesan Registrar. This role will provide leadership, coordination, and alignment across various sectors within the Diocese, ensuring that strategic objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. We look forward to Graeme settling into this new role and invite you all to join in congratulating him on this appointment and supporting this next phase in the development of our vision and strategic mission work together as a Diocese.
