Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support for later life,end-of-life planning and to navigate grief or loss.
The inaugural 2025 event for Hawkes Bay centred in Hastings, with the aim of offering a range of opportunities to broaden the discourse around death, learn from local expertise, find support and information for end-of-life planning, and navigate grief.
2026 events will take place from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September in Hastings and Napier.
