What to Expect:
Kick-off Event | 28 April 2026 | Taradale Anglican Church | $10 for one / $15 for 'bring a friend'
We are kicking off Every Bite with a familiar face — Francky Godinho from St Georges Restaurant. While he is a two-time NZ Chef of the Year, Francky is an authentic chef who grows his own organic veggies to fuel his kitchen. He will be showing us how he preserves his harvest when his garden overproduces, locking in that peak-season crunch so nothing goes to waste. At this special event, you will:
Enjoy gourmet light meals made with fresh, largely organic produce, locally grown produce.
Learn about Every Bite’s mission to reduce food waste and appreciate food more.
Hear from Francky Godinho as he shares his philosophy on food sustainability and demonstrates how to pickle seasonal abundance, making the most of every ingredient.
Every Bite Programme
Throughout the four-week journey, you will receive:
Weekly newsletters packed with inspiration.
Three simple at-home actions to help you reduce waste.
Access to a private Facebook group for support, questions and sharing progress.
Wrap-up Event | 26 May 2026 | Taradale Anglican Church | Free
To celebrate your journey, we will gather again for a final kōrero, reflection, and another opportunity to savour the delicious kai together.
Sign up today and be part of this movement to reduce food waste, save money, and build a stronger, more sustainable community!
