Getting Hooked!

As I was updating you all on the successful Morning Tea a thought popped into my head that I would also share the Crochet Workshop with you.

Under the careful tuition of Julie and Catherine Joule, the very masters of all things crafty in my opinion. I soon learned how to make my first stitch and then may more until I had a very long tail indeed.

I was "hooked" and wanted to advance to proper stitches and started to make a square. Unbeknown to me I was not following the basic stitch and mine didn't look the same as my neighbour....... Julie corrected me and off I went again. The 2 hours went very quickly as we laughed at ineptitude and accomplishment!

Armed with my hook, wool and beanie pattern I headed home, happy in thought that I could now Crochet.... who knew!

On Sunday, I picked it up again undid my square and embarked on the child size beanie, I am now the proud owner of boiled egg cozy........erm Julie "what went wrong?"
