Festive Lunch

Last Sunday I was privileged to help out with the mid-winter Festive Lunch. When I arrived some of the Junior Youth were busy putting on the table clothes and making the tables look festive. We hung bunting (all made by the youth) and they took pride in making everything look just "so", in the Kitchen the remaining youth were busy prepping vegetables and making platters. It was a hub of willing excitement.
Our gusts started to arrive and warm Mulled wine or fruit juice was served and people shown to their tables, and then the youth were like a well-oiled machine, running platters out to the hungry guests. Chatter and laughter could be heard all around us and wonderful time was had by all.
What really impressed everyone were our willing waiting staff, how lucky we are to have such a wonderful Youth team!
