Growing in Biblical Knowledge

As part of the diocesan strategic emphasis on discipleship, the Ministry Education office has launched an initiative called the Waiapu Certificate - an introductory level course of instruction in the basics of the bible, theology and church teaching, accompanied by some practical learning around preaching, care and worship.

The first paper to be released is Reading the Bible: Finding the Word in the word. This will begin on Monday 21 July and is a 15 lecture course that includes small group discussions and can be taken either for interest or for credit toward the Waiapu Certificate.
