On Sunday, 27 October you are invited to join a worldwide movement to pray for the media and those involved in the production and delivery of media around the world.
As a point of influence, there is little that carries more weight that what we watch, read and listen to on a regular basis. The media has the capacity to set, amend and divert the narrative and our discourse around many subjects and the experiences of people. As such, it is in need of our prayer.
From midday on Sunday, 27 October a livestream of prayer from across the world will begin, starting from New Zealand. This livestream can be accessed here.
Outside of that, take some time this Sunday and Monday morning, even as you watch something on television, read a newspaper or listen to the radio, to pray for those entrusted with the production of what we all receive.
