Renewing our Vision

On Sunday, Alan took time with those that could make it to explore the work the Vestry has done to renew our vision and mission and to identify key areas of strategic emphasis we will concentrate on. As Alan noted at the meeting, the mission of the church never changes - the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ crucified and risen. Within that wider task, however, God calls churches and communities to specific components of that work. Our vision and mission is a reflection of what we discern as God calling us to do.

From the communal input, the Vestry will work to amend and then finalise the new vision and mission. From this the staff team will develop a work plan of initiatives and adjustments to help us meet the hopes and aspirations we outline in the vision.
