Over the past weekend, a member of our community took the extra effort to offer a fundraiser for the work of Adelante Africa. This is a charitable organisation introduced to us earlier this year through a presentation from one of their leaders. The group supports the education, health and developmental needs of communities in Uganda.
The fundraiser consisted of various pieces of clothings, goods and treasures prepared by communities in Africa and sent to New Zealand.
