Do you have lots of questions about your faith that you have never felt a chance to ask? Do you have a family member or friend who often asks you tricky questions and that you never really know how to answer? Do you have someone in your life who actively rejects faith, but as you listen to them you realise, they don't really know what you actually believe? If any of those comes with a 'yes' then ALPHA is perfect for the situation you are in.
Centred on the practice of hospitality and genuinely a space where there is no silly question and no expectation that you will toe the party line, ALPHA is a series of evenings in which Christian answers to the big questions about life are shared and then participants are given an opportunity to question, prod and probe them. The evenings begin with a dinner, are based around tables and small groups that connect more and more over time and focus on openness and discussion.
Youth Alpha launches on Thursday, 23 January at 7pm in the Lounge at All Saint's Church. This is for those aged 13-18. Even if you've missed the first one, you can still register and come along to engage. These sessions begin with dessert. Evening will be finished by 8:30pm at the latest.
Adult Alpha starts on Thursday, 13 February from 6pm. This begins with a dinner before discussing content. Childcare can be made available if needed. The evening will generally finish by 8pm at the latest.
